Lost

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

I know where my home is but I have been lost for so long that I can’t find my way back.

I know exactly where home is

but I have been wandering for so long,

that I have found home in lonely streets and abandoned buildings.

I have found home is restless detachment, constrained attachment.

I know where my home is but I have been lost for so long, I have lost my sense of direction,

my will to turn back; my will to come back.

I have been lost for so long; I'm lost in my own house but I am lost with my own people and I am lost in my own skin.

I have been lost for so long; I am sat on the terrace of my house, lost in the sky; lost

but lost in my desires

but lost in my fears;

lost in my own house
